Facilities Technician-Full Time

Pay: $18.00 -$20.00

Schedule: Monday-Friday. 1st shift

People Incorporated is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as Facilities Technician. The employee is responsible for facility service requests, building maintenance, and emergency repairs including but not limited to; electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, locks & keys, basic carpentry, painting and drywall repair, janitorial, grounds, and snow removal.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Responsible for routine, preventative and emergency maintenance as directed.
2. Immediately report assessments and safety concerns to Facilities Director.
3. Respond to maintenance work orders as assigned by the Lead Facilities Technician.
4. Respond to emergency and after hour’s calls if needed.
5. Pick up and/or transport supplies and equipment as needed.
6. Travel between Agency locations as needed.
7. Maintain a professional, safe and clean work environment.
8. Comply with OSHA Safety policies and regulations.

QUALIFICATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of relevant work experience required.
• Skill in performing building and property maintenance.
• Ability to properly and safely use hand tools and/or instruments and cleaning agents.
• Ability to follow direction and work both independently and as a team.
• Ability to work and communicate with others to provide immediate response.
• Use of your personal vehicle is required.
• A qualifying criminal background check and a valid driver’s license are also required.
