Requirements – What do you need to have?
What will you do?
You will provide assistance with daily activities and ensure a structured routine that includes but is not limited to house meetings, individual community outings, meal preparation, assistance with activities of daily living, personal care, family visitation facilitation, and medication distribution while maintaining human rights at all times. This position will implement Positive Behavior Support and individualized programs as identified in Individual Service Plans. At times, de-escalation and crisis management techniques may be required to maintain the safety of others.
Which qualifications are preferred?
Applicants with MAP certification, Safety-Care, CPR and First Aid are preferred but this is NOT required as we provide paid, on-the-job training. LPN and RN students with a C.N.A certification are encouraged to apply. (Note that we offer tuition reimbursement!)
